New Product - Shadow Water Carafe

By Brian Keaney, 08/09/2013 - 16:43
Tonfisk Design Shadow water carafe with coaster by Niko Rantanen

SHADOW is water carafe where the coaster has been cleverly integrated into the design by shaping it as the shadow of the carafe to create a simple attention grabbing product. One side of the coaster is a stained wood finish while the edges and other side are painted black. This allows the coaster to be used either way and the shadow to stand out on any finish or color of table. The carafe is made of glass in the beautiful shape of a drop and stands at an angle on the coaster. The volume is 1,5L.

The design began as a graduation work cooperation between Niko Rantanen (born 1983) and Tonfisk Design for the Turku University of Applied Sciences.

Come see the new product at the Formex fair in Stockholm from 15.8. - 18.8 stand B14:16
