15 New Products being introduced to WARM series

In 1998 the original WARM series was exhibited for the first time as the graduation work of Brian Keaney. Shortly afterwards the first orders were completed and after Tonfisk Design was launched in 2000 the WARM series has been its trade mark product. Presently the WARM series is retailing in over 20 countries worldwide and is included in the collections of several museums including Les Arts Decoratif in Paris. Since 1998 several new pieces have been gradually added to the range however the range has continued to lack bowls and plates.
 
Now in autumn 2010 fifteen new pieces designed by Brian Keaney will be added to the range. The new pieces include 4 sizes of bowls including the large Salad Bowl and Soup Bowl (see picture below), 3 sizes of serving plates, 4 sizes of dining plates a candle holder and a new cappuccino cup. The functional and aesthetic characteristics of the original range are continued with the combining of ceramic and wood with simple forms. Functional characteristics include the possibility to use the serving plates as lids on the bowls.
 
The new pieces will be launched in Helsinki at Design Market (30.-31.8) and Habitare 2010 September 1-5 (stand 2c61) and will also be available in autumn from all Stockmann department stores and Tonfisk Design’s own webshop.

Finland's largest design sales DESIGN MARKET is again taking place at the Cable Factory in Helsinki from 28.-29.9 and Tonfisk is again present. DESIGN MARKET is from 11am-5pm both days and products and offers can be found from 50 design companies. Last year 15 000 visitors came bargain hunting. www.helsinkidesignweek.com/designmarket

Tonfisk Design at SKANSSI with Turku Design Now! 19.-22.5

Tonfisk and the Turku Design Now! group are particpating at the Design Outlet event being held at Skanssi shopping center in Turku from 19.-22.5. The event features Finnish and internation design brands.

TURKU DESIGN NOW! & Friends -Spring sales 23.4. - 25.4.

The Turku Design Now! group will collect at Tonfisk Design's factory once again for its spring sales. Along with our normal members special guests this time are the award winning furniture and lighting company Tunto Design (www.tunto.com) and glass producer Nounou Design (www.nounoudesign.fi). As well as the Turku book publisher Sammakko known for among others its 'Swearing Hedgehog' series. (www.sammakko.com)

Tonfisk Design at Ambiente Fair, Frankfurt 12-16 February

Tonfisk Design will exhibit at the Ambiente fair in Frankfurt for the tenth year. New on our stand this spring will be a selection of products from other companies in the Turku Design Now group (www.turkudesignnow.fi).
